Terms of Service

Last updated: [date]

1. Agreement

These terms govern use of ClientTrack, operated by [Company Legal Name] ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using ClientTrack, you agree to these terms. If you're creating an account on behalf of a business, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. What ClientTrack is

ClientTrack is a project, client, and invoicing tool for freelancers and small agencies ("staff"). Staff can invite their own clients ("clients") into a portal to view projects, files, and invoices, and to pay through a payment method the staff org has enabled.

3. Accounts

  • You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the business data you enter: client details, invoice amounts, project terms.
  • We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

4. Payments

Invoice payments processed through ClientTrack are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) or recorded manually (bank transfer). ClientTrack is not a party to the underlying agreement between staff and their clients. We facilitate invoicing and payment collection, we don't guarantee payment, project quality, or dispute outcomes between staff and their clients.

Your ClientTrack subscription (the fee you pay us to use the product) is billed separately from any invoices you send through it. Subscription pricing is described on our pricing page and may change with notice.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you put into ClientTrack: clients, projects, files, invoices, messages. You grant us the license needed to store, process, and display that data back to you and the clients you share it with, solely to provide the service.

6. Acceptable use

  • No using ClientTrack to send unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive invoices or communications.
  • No attempting to access another org's data or another client's portal.
  • No reverse engineering, scraping, or overloading the service.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep ClientTrack available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

ClientTrack is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes between staff and their clients.

9. Termination

You can stop using ClientTrack and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and post material changes here before they take effect.
